Cumulatively for the first two months of the year, BEV registrations declined by 1.3%, with BEVs accounting for 11.6% of total registrations.

14,575 plug-in hybrids (PHEV) were newly registered in February – 22.3% more than in February last year. The share of this drivetrain type in total registrations in February and also cumulatively since the beginning of the year was 6.7%. Since January, plug-in hybrids have increased by 39.5% to a total of 28,969 registrations.

Electric cars as a whole – i.e. BEVs, plug-in hybrids and fuel cell vehicles combined – totaled 42,062 registrations in February 2024, a drop of 5.3 percent compared to the same month last year.
