In the view of the Association of International Motor Vehicle Manufacturers, the planned differentiation of the truck toll according to CO<sub>2<\/sub> emissions is basically a step in the right direction. In order to successfully reduce CO<sub>2<\/sub> emissions, it is necessary to take advantage of all opportunities. In addition to electrically powered trucks, currently available vehicles with hybrid or gas drive also offer considerable potential for fuel savings and thus also for reducing emissions. These vehicles are also suitable for long-distance operation. The use of biofuels such as Bio-LNG also further reduces CO<sub>2<\/sub> emissions significantly.
