At the general meeting of the Association of International Motor Vehicle Manufacturers today, several board members were elected in rotation.<\/p>\n

Reinhard Zirpel was confirmed as VDIK President for another two years by the General Assembly. He has held the office since 2016.<\/p>\n

In addition, Dr. Kolja Rebstock (Managing Director of Mitsubishi Motors Deutschland Automobile GmbH) and Alain Uyttenhoven (President of Toyota Deutschland GmbH) were re-elected as members of the Board for another two years.<\/p>\n

J\u00fcrgen Keller (Managing Director Hyundai Motor Deutschland GmbH) was newly appointed to the VDIK Board.<\/p>\n

Other members of the board are VDIK Vice President Uwe Hochgeschurtz (Chairman of the Board Renault Deutschland AG), as well as Maria Grazia Davino (Chairman of the Board FCA Germany AG), Peter Hornig (Managing Director Scania Deutschland GmbH), Frank J\u00fcrgens (Spokesman of the Board \u0160KODA AUTO Deutschland GmbH) and Wolfgang Schlimme (Managing Director CITRO\u00cbN DEUTSCHLAND GmbH).<\/p>\n

The Association of International Motor Vehicle Manufacturers has been representing the interests of international passenger car and commercial vehicle manufacturers in Germany since 1952. With their 36 makes, the VDIK member companies have sold over 1.4 million passenger cars in Germany in 2019. This is a market share of around 39 percent. In addition, the VDIK members sold over 120,000 commercial vehicles.<\/p>\n
